How did I come up with the name?

There are no coincidences, they say, and that is a truism!
When I came up with a name, I started playing with the names of the people in my family who are close to my heart: my daughter Eline, my husband Danny, my Plus son Dimitri and my mother Gerda. Mix these together into a good sounding name and I found: Gennesaret.
I then googled and it turned out: it really exists, it is the famous Lake Tiberias, where Jesus accomplished the miraculous fishing thousands of years ago.
For me, the H is the symbol of HOPE, I hope that I too can proclaim the Good News (= learn to discover your true self) and inspire you, together with my dear colleagues, to get the best out of yourself, just like Jesus and his apostles did that at the time.



Meaning of the name

Gennesareth was one of several names throughout history for "The Sea of Galilee" now known as the Sea of Galilee . In this case, however, the name referred specifically to that small but extremely fertile plain (described as a veritable 'Prince's Garden', which is what the name may have meant) that shone like a jewel of abundance on the western shore of the lake, just south of Capernaum. The Gospels curiously describe this place as 'Jesus' own city', which might lead one to think that this meant a property he inherited rather than just his residence. The plain of Gennesaret has many settlements and one of them, Magdala, is thought to have been the residence of Mary Magdalene.
There is also a Gnostic text about Mary Magdalene.

Jesus and the Essenes
The seven mirrors come from the ancient Essenes.

They had a very highly developed understanding of interpersonal relationships and the role of emotion in those relationships.

With their writings of the seven mirrors, the Essenes give us the key to awakening and becoming more aware of ourselves and our relationships. The Essenes lived between the 1st and 2nd centuries BC. They were a breakaway group within Judaism who lived in male monastic communities.

They settled around the year 100 BC. in a town near the Dead Sea called Qumram. They were mainly concerned with copying the ancient writings from Egypt or even older mystery schools.
